We will be staying at 2/3 star hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara. All rooms are on twin-shared basis. Single bedroom will be arranged on request and will cost additional. Utmost Adventure will arrange rooms with attached bathrooms..
All meals will be provided on bed and breakfast basis, except for Chitwan, during tour. This is because there are plethora of restaurants in Kathmandu and Pokhara for you to choose from. There will also be welcome or farewell dinners taking place for guests. Authentic Nepalese, Tibetan, continental meals and Indian cuisine are common choices in the menu.
One week cultural tour is a easy tour. Travelers who can travel up to 6-7 hours a by bus/jeep will consider this trip fulfilling and enjoyable. One week cultural tour should be relatively easy for those who have experience in walking in the city and easy walk in forest. Determination, good physical health, positive attitude and average physical fitness are good preconditions for a successful accomplishment of the tour. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood diseases should inform Utmost Adventure Trekking before booking the trek.
The best time for the tour is during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). The temperature is moderate and guarantees amazing views throughout the trip. Although this trek can be undertaken during winter and summer.
Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1400m):
Welcome to Himalayan country of Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan intl. airport our representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu (1,400m). After time to get refreshed, evening you will meet and transfer for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and after meal briefing about your trip and overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing & tour preparation:
Today, morning we will ready after your breakfast to head on for our relaxing guided day trip to world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley and visit the highlights of Kathmandu and the surrounding areas. We take you to visit the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, one of the most important shrine of Shiva temples on the subcontinent which is place of thousand of devotees, Saddhus (holy men/Baba), and can be seen the cremating body most of the times in the holy riverbank of Bagmati. Hundreds of monkeys are giggling with you and take a time to exploring surrounding area and visit Bouddhanath stupa an another pilgrimage centre which is most popular and important place for Buddhist. You can explore with rounding prayer wheel and flattering colorful flag with melodious chanting noise. After your lunch at Bouddha visit Swoyambhunath stupa also known as monkey temple covering wide range of area with highest point of Kathmandu valley and enjoy the 360 degrees of valley view. After exploring the surrounding areas visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square which is old royal palace of Kathmandu and can be seen lot of temple, architectures and Kumari (living goddess) and walk in a freak street and late afternoon back to hotel and evening briefing about your trip, what is your responsibility, what to do and does not in the tour? Day 03: Kathmandu – Chitwan (140m):
Morning drive (Approx. 7 hrs or fly 20 Min) to the Royal Chitwan National. After the arrival in Chitwan transfer to the wildlife resort. On reaching resort, our guest relations officer will brief the guest. After lunch at 13:00 hrs, you will follow the wildlife program by 15:00 hrs such as Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk / Nature walk with Boat ride. 20:00 hrs. Overnight at wildlife resort.
Day 04: Chitwan (140m) – Full day jungle activities: including Elephant safari, Jungle walk, Bird watching.
Full day jungle activities, 5:30 hrs. wake up call followed by tea/coffee. * 6:00 hrs. Bird watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle walk. * 8:00 hrs. Breakfast. * 9:30 hrs. Crocodile walk. A 45-minute walk through grassland and forest upstream the Rapti/Narayani River after which, board boats to observe crocodiles along the banks while floating back to the camp. * 13:00 p.m.: Lunch. * 15:30 hrs. Elephant Safari /Jungle Walk / Visit Observation Tower / Nature Walk with Boat Ride. * 20:00 hrs. Dinner. Overnight at wildlife resort.
Day 05: Chitwan – Pokhara (840m):
In about six hours drive you will reach to Pokhara with is the most picturesque spots and an attractive valley. Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world (Annapurna I 8091m, Dhaulagiri 8267m, Manaslu 8156m) situated within 50 km of the city, so that the northern skyline of the city offers a very close view of beautiful Himalayas. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Pokhara Excursion day:
Sunrise: Sarangkot is located on a mountainside ridge at an altitude of 1600m with panoramic Himalayan view. It is famous for sunrise as well paragliding spot. We take you in the morning for sunrise tour, it offers superb Himalayan vista consisting of the mighty peaks such as the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Himalchuli, Machhapuchhare and Lamjung Himal. After breakfast cross Phewa lake by boat and hike to Peace Stupa, after lunch we take you to International Mountain Musuem. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Pokhara – Kathmandu (1400m):
Morning fly back to Kathmandu and rest and refreshment in the afternoon. In the evening a farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Departure:
Transfer to airport for final departure to onward destination.
