LABUJE PEAK CLIMBING

The labuje peak 6,119 meters is a beautiful peak in Khumbu region which has two distinct summits: Lobuje East (6,119m) and Lobuje West (6,145m).  Most of climbers select this peak for climbing and they make their climbing on the west peak as the east is lower elevation although they are connected by a continuous ridge there is a sharp gap and a considerable distance between them. This labuche peak is an attractive from where we can view the world class panoramic scenery of Mt. Pumori, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nupse, Labuche Mt. Amadablam Thamaserku, and some other snowy peaks. , the dark triangle of its rocky East Face rises above the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to an icy skyline. This skyline forms the South Ridge, the junction of the East Face with the glaciated South-West Face and the line of the normal route of ascent. This in turn leads to the summit ridge running north-west from the top of East Face through several small summits to the East Peak. This labuche peak is climbed via its normal route and climbing permit can be received through registered agency from Nepal Mountaineering Association. For climbing best season is Spring from March to May.

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4,360m)
Day 08: Trek to Labuje
Day 09: Trek to Labuje Base camp
