ISLAND PEAK (6189 m) CLIMBING
Island Peak (6,189 m) also known as Imja Tse is one of the well known mountain peak in Khumbu region at Sagarmatha National Park, Probably the highest national park in the world. Most of the people select this peak for their climbing, which can be reached after flying to lukla from kathmandu and follows the famous trekking trail which leads to Mt. Everest Base camp. From Lukla we walk through Namche, Tyangboche, Dingboche and then Chhukung the base camp of This Peak. It takes 6-7 days to get to base camp. On the route to Its Base camp the fine lodge accommodation are available so it is little easy trip. The first ascent to this peak was made by Swiss team in the year 1956. After preparation of climbing we ascend beyond base camp via high camp and summit following the south-west icy ridge , which takes around 5-6 hours to get to summit, From the summit of Island peak an breath taking scenery of world class mountain having 8000 meters above mountains including the highest mountain can be seen. This climbing will be an incredible experience for everyone.
