Ghorepani Poonhill is the most selected trekking destination in Annapurna Conservation Area by the visitors as it is short and easy trek more than this, it is good view point of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna Himalayan range. To view this beauty. early in the morning before breakfast we climb up to this Poonhill (3210 m) from where beautiful morning sunrise also can be seen.This trek include the major settlement of Gurung and Magar village such as Hile, Ulleri, Tadapani and some other small settlement with traditional culture and the life style.

Intinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (760m) and then Birethanti (1070m)
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tirkedhunga 1450 m
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2800 m
Day 06: Visit Poonhill and trek to Tadapani (2540 m)
Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk (1940 m)
Day 08: Trek to Birethanti (1800m) and drive to Pokhara (2540m)
Day 08: Return to Kathmandu (1300 m)

Detail Intinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
On your arrival day we will be waiting for you at the airport to receive you and we will transfer you to hotel and you have refreshment time at hotel after check in inot hotel. In the evening a short briefing on the program.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu:
Visit Pashupatinath the holiest Hindu Shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva as incarnation of Pashupati Lord of animals. Baudhanath The largest Bhddhist Stupa of its kind, built in 5th century and dedicated to the memory of Buddhist demi-god. Gokarna Safari is located 10km east of Kathmandu. Wildlife activities can be seen from on elephant back. Swayambhunath visit 2500-year-old 2nd Holiest Buddhist Shrine.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (760m) and then Birethanti (1070m)

Early in the morning we drive through the Prithivi high way to get to pokhara , which takes 6-7 hours driving by private bus or Jeep from Kathmandu.To get to Pokhara we have alternative too which is the flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara which takes only 25 minutes. This day we will saty near the Fewa lake at Pokhara.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tirkedhunga 1450 m

From pokhara we start our journey after breakfast and we drive around 2 hours to get to Nayapul and from there our trek starts after 4-5 hours walking through the village, terraced rice field , and light jungle Tirkedhunga camp can be reached. where we stay at lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani 2800 m

Crossing the hanging bridge just after the village we walk upward for around 1 hour we get to ulleri village from there we go gradual up and following the trail through the Rhododendron jungle, finally we get to Ghorepani , which takes around 6-7 hours walking.

Day 06: Visit Poonhill and trek to Tadapani (2540 m):

Early in the morning, we walk up to Poonhill before breakfast, this place is one of the best place to view the panorama of Dhaulagiri and annapurma Himalayan range as well as beautiful sunrise. After this view we get down to ghorepani and walk forward to Tadapani, which is a small village having 7-8 teahouse lodges surrounded by rhododendron forest.

Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk (1940 m):

We walk through the rhododendron jungle follow the local village trail to get to Ghandurung, crossing Vaise a small settlement, during walk we can see mount Fishtail Annapurna and other Himalayan surrounding as well as people and their cultures. At Ghandurung there is this place we can also visit to local museum to get more information about the typical things.

Day 08: Trek to Birethanti (1800m) and drive to Pokhara (2540m):

This day we have easy slope downward walk through the village and after three hours walking we can reach to Birethani which is the entry and exit point of Annapurna Conservation Area. We exit from here and take Jeep or bus for two hours to get to Pokhara.

Day 08: Return to Kathmandu (1300 m)

To return to Kathmandu we have two alternatives. Either we can take 30 minutes flight or 6-7 hours driving by private reserved vehicle.

Day 10: Departure

This day we will come to hotel and take you to airport on your given time for the final departure to home with wishing you good luck.
