Annapurna Thorung La Trek

The Annapurna Thorung Trek renowned as the world famous trekking destination as it includes various types of diversities . This journey starts from beshisahar and goes forward through the Bagarchhap ( 2160 m), Timang (2750m), Tangchok and Koto (2600 m) and headquarter of Manang district is Chame. On this trekking we will have chance to visit the ancient Monastery, small stupas and maniwalls, Ice Lake or Gompa and Milarepa cave at manang, Bhuddist culture,The wild animal Bluesheep and some other good looking birds in the steep hills, incredible landscape on snowline ,snow caped mountain and the alpine forest . Thorung La (5416 m) top the highest place of this route is also another remarkable thing .The holy place Muktinath also can be visited, where we can see 108 water taps on its back , nonstop flaming light and the main temple which is built on pagoda style. The landscape,rivers as well as Typical life style of this area is also notable.

Detail Intinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
On your arrival day we will be waiting for you at the airport to receive you and we will transfer you to hotel and you have refreshment time at hotel after check in inot hotel. In the evening a short briefing on the program.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu:

Visit Pashupatinath the holiest Hindu Shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva as incarnation of Pashupati Lord of animals. Baudhanath The largest Bhddhist Stupa of its kind, built in 5th century and dedicated to the memory of Buddhist demi-god. Gokarna Safari is located 10km east of Kathmandu. Wildlife activities can be seen from on elephant back. Swayambhunath visit 2500-year-old 2nd Holiest Buddhist Shrine.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m)

We follow the road which leads to pokhara, the Prithivi high way up to Dumre town and the follow branch road towards right side. Heading to the headquarter of Lamjung district Beshisahar which takes 6-7 hours driving by private bus or Jeep from Kathmandu.

Day 04:Besisahar to Ngadi 930m

From Beshisahar The driving road is rough and we drive forward to Bulbule by the left side of the river for around one hour and from there we start walking will start . We cross the steel bridge we follow the trekking trail from next to Marsyangdi river which goes gradual up to Ngadi.

Day 05: Ngadi to Jagat 1300m

The next place from Ngadi is Jagat to get ther we ascend up to Bahundanda and then th trail goes little slop dowanward and then forward to Jagat. This day we can feel the real living style of the Nepalese villagers.

Day 06: Jagat to Dharapani 1860m

In the morning we start walking to chyamje (1430 m) and following the trekking old trail via Taal village (1700 m) we get to Dharapani in the afternoon.which is in Manag district. It takes around 6-7 hours walking.

Day 07: Dharapani to Chame (2670m)

The headquarter of Manang district is Chame, we have to walk around 6-7 hours on our average walking speed . This day we go throughthe village Bagarchhap ( 2160 m), Timang (2750m), Tangchok and Koto (2600 m), bserving the different landscape and the flora.

Day 08:Chame to Pisang (3200m)

We will walk a head following the trail via Thaluke and Bharatang village where we have good time to see the local daily life and the cultures. It is in the distance of 6-7 walking hours. On this day we will and go to visit the Monastery to observe the Bhuddist culture.

Day 09: Pisang to Manang (3540m)

Manang is the small valley where small domestic airport is located, which we will see during our walking from there we still have to go still forward to north side following the trail. Old Buddhist monastery, snow caped mountain and the alpine forest are the main attraction of this area. Typical life style of this area is also notable.

Day 10: Rest Day at Manang (3540 m)

As Manang is at the elevation at himalay region which starts from 3500 m We make one rest day here. It is for being familiar with local environment. It’s for preventing from high altitude sickness problem. On this day we can visit to Ice Lake or Gompa and Milarepa cave as a short and easy day tour . this is an optional day trip.

Day 11: Manang to Yakharka (4050m)

This day walk offers us to see the animal Bluesheep and some other good looking birds in the steep hills, We start our trek after breakfast and we will ascend up to almost 500 meters on this day above timber line region. While walking we can see small stupas and maniwalls, which represents the Buddhism.

Day 12: Yakharka to High Camp (4925m)

This day we can see more panoramic Mountain View and incredible landscape on snowline. As much as we go higher we will feel relaxing and have more beautiful scenery. Mountains can be seen very close by open eye which is realy amazing.

Day 13: High Camp to Muktinath (3760m)

This day we will cross the high pass Thorung La. We start very early morning have to walk slope upwards to the Thorung La (5416 m) top following the snowy path of Himalayan. To get to the top it takes around 4 hours walking from the top We can view incredible mountains range. We will spend few minutes there at the top with the Himalayas an then goes down the the muktinath which takes additional 4-5 hours from the top.

Day 14: Muktinath to Jomsom (2720m)

Muktinath the name related with the god which means the god who makes us relief from all the difficulties, so it is regarded as a holy place for both bhuddist and hindu pilgrims, where we can see 108 water taps on its back , nonstop flaming light and the main temple which is built on pagoda style. From here we walk down to Jomsom on this day which is very easy. We can follow the trail either directly to Jomsom or via Kagbeni following the narrow road which is parallel with Kaligandaki river.

Day 15: Fly to Pokhara (800)

From Jomsom we take a flight by small aircraft and fly to Pokhara in the morning. This flight offers us to observe the rest of the places mountains and the settlements below down from the jomsom , it takes 25 minuts to get to pokhara where we check in into hotel and go for day sightseeing around pokhara.

Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu (1300 m)

To return to Kathmandu we have two alternatives. Either we can take 30 minutes flight or 6-7 hours driving by private reserved vehicle.

Day 17: Departure

This day we will come to hotel and take you to airport on your given time for the final departure to home with wishing you good luck.
