A 03 Central Tibet Culture Tour 12 Days

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome clients at the airport and trasfer to hotel and check-in. A short briefing on the program after refreshment.

Days 02/3 Kathmadu. Process on Tibet visa & permit and sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley.

Day 04: Flight to Lhasa around 55 minutes of flying landing at the Gonggar Airport and transfer to city approximately 100 KM and check-in hotel.

Day 05: Full day explorations on Samye Yambulakharka Palace and Tombs of Tibet Kings and after back to hotel.

Day 06: Driving tour of 330km. to Shigatse via the Yamlung Tsangpo gorge for excursions and back to hotel.

Day 07: Visit to Tashilbunpo Monastery in the morning and drive 90km. to Gaungste in the afternoon. On the way visit Shalu Temple and overnight at hotel.

Day 08: A sightseeing tour to Polkhor Monastery and Kumbum Stupa. After drive 280 km. towards the Holy City Lhasa via Karola Pass 5015m. including Lake Yamdrok and Kambala Pass and overnight stay at hotel.

Days 09/10 Two full day explorations on Bhakhor Market, Jolkhang Temple, and Potala Palace, Drepung & Sera Monasteries and stay at hotel.

Day 11: Transfer to Gonggar Airport Lhasa Airpirt and fly back to Kathmandu transfer to hotel check-in and in the evening a farewell dinner.

Day 12: Transfer from hotel to the airport for the final departure.
