Pilgrimage tour of Manakamana and Muktinath Temple

Manakamana too is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhist. It situated 12 Km south of the historic town Gorkha overlooking the river valleys of Trisuli (South) and Marsyangdi (West) is 1302m. (4270 ft).

Since centuries Manakamana Devi has been widly believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees so she is called the wish fulfilling deity. It offers spiritual views include deep valleys, terraced fields and Manaslu-Himalchuli and Annapurna ranges. In the past, the only access to the region was by arduous climb of over five hours but one can now visit the shrine in comfort by Manakamana Cable car with green hills scenery. A visit to this temple makes a dream come true.  

Pilgrimage tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 02: Early morning: drive to Kurintar and take the cable car to Manakamana Temple and Darshan of Manakamana Mai. Same day drive to Pokhara. Overnight in hotel.

Day 03: Early morning: flight to Jomsom and trek to Muktinath. Overnight in Guesthouse.

Day 04: Morning: Puja at Muktinath. Afternoon: trek back to Jomsom. Overnight in Guesthouse.

Day 05: Flight to Pokhara. Afternoon: sightseeing around the Pokhara Valley (Boating, Devis’ Falls, Gupteshower Mahadev cave). Overnight in Hotel.

Day 06: Morning: drive to Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 07: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambunath and the sleeping Vishnu. Overnight in hotel.

Day 08: Transfer to Airport.
